Any person may directly address the Board at this time on any item of interest to the public  
that is within the subject matter and jurisdiction of the Board. Boardmembers may briefly  
respond to statements or questions from the public, ask questions for clarification, refer a  
matter to staff, request staff to report back at a subsequent meeting, or direct staff to place  
the matter on a future agenda. However, under the Brown Act, the Board cannot engage in  
discussion or take action on any item not listed on the agenda. Public Comment on a specific

4.A. Receive presentation from Board President Diane Shaw and The Wathen  
Group regarding draft report entitled Recommendations for the AC  
Transit Board of Directors to increase board effectiveness and cohesion.  
Further recommend doing the following:  
1. Adopt Board Members Guiding Principles and Board Pre-Meeting  
Check-In Practices.  
2. Develop Board Item Framework and Ensure Complete and Accurate  
Board Item Preparation.  
3. Commit to Ongoing Board Performance Review.  
The recommendations stipulated above were drawn from board  
member and officer interviews, the review of current board meeting  
practices, policies and supporting documentation, and industry best  
practices.

6.A. Consider adoption of Resolution No. 26-020 authorizing the General  
Manager or designee to file and execute agreements with the California  
Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Sustainable Transportation  
Planning Grant Funds for the Bus Operator Restroom Access and Service  
Reliability Study.

Investment Plan (CIP) for four projects.

Manager or his designee to file and execute an application and funding  
agreement with the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) for

Enhancements Project.

person should complete a Speaker’s Form and submit it to the District Secretary at the meeting. For subjects

District Ordinance No. 13 prohibits non service animals at District facilities unless specifically authorized by law.
