The General Manager’s Access Committee (GMAC), provides feedback to the General Manager regarding the implementation of District planning, programs, and services for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

 

BUDGETARY/FISCAL IMPACT:

 

There is no budgetary or fiscal impact associated with this report.

 

BACKGROUND/RATIONALE:

 

The minutes for February 10, 2026, were approved by the General Manager’s Access Committee on March 10, 2026.  Major topics included:

 

                     Public Transit Regional Revenue Measure.

                     AC Transit Website Accessibility/Mobile App.

                     Customer Service Quarterly Report.

                     Review of GMAC Charter and Attendance.

 

The General Manager’s Access Committee was established by the General Manager in April of 2023 to review, comment, and advise the General Manager and District staff regarding the implementation of planning, programs, and services for seniors and people with disabilities. The committee consists of 14 members with all members being appointed by the General Manager. Committee members serve a two-year term

This report is being provided to inform the Board of the activities of the General Manager’s Access Committee.

This report does not recommend an action requiring an alternatives analysis.
