The General Manager’s Access Committee (GMAC), provides feedback to the General Manager regarding the implementation of District planning, programs, and services for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

There is no budgetary or fiscal impact associated with this report.

 

BACKGROUND/RATIONALE:

 

The minutes for July 9, 2024, were approved by the General Manager’s Access Committee on September 10, 2024.  Major topics included:

 

                     Realign Update

                     Overview of Accessibility and Traffic Safety on BRT

                     Review/Approve GMAC Top Priorities FY24/25

 

The General Manager’s Access Committee was established by the General Manager in April of 2023 to review, comment, and advise the General Manager and District staff regarding the implementation of planning, programs, and services for seniors and people with disabilities. The committee consists of 14 members with all members being appointed by the General Manager. Committee members serve a two-year term.

This report is being provided to inform the Board of the activities of the General Manager’s Access Committee.
